II. AI Art Generator Issues

1. Accuracy Issue
One of the problems with AI art generators is that it is difficult to produce a specific image. A prompt is required to generate an image with the AI art generator. The prompt provides the necessary information for generating the image. For example, a prompt like "Shiba Inu piloting a spaceship," is what the AI goes on to generate a new image. However, the image generated may not resemble the appearance of a Shiba Inu piloting a spaceship. Therefore, users may have to make numerous attempts until they obtain the desired image.
2. Limitations of Artistic Styles
While AI art generators can generate new images based on learned images, they still have limitations in terms of artistic styles. For example, the styles of the generated images are based on the artistic styles learned from the image dataset, making it difficult for a completely new artistic style.
3. Copyright Issues
As AI generators become more popular, there is an influx of images created as a result. However, there are ongoing concerns regarding the relationship between the original creators and users, as well as the compatibility with existing copyright laws. Experts evaluate that it is difficult to consider an AI that has undergone the learning process using someone else's creative work as creating a completely new work. Although advancements are being made in AI technology, if the originality is completely lost, it can be classified as "derivative work" to avoid copyright issues. However, currently, in the process of copying and mixing images used by AI art generators, the original image often emerges, making it difficult to be free from copyright issues.
